Opis produktu:

Tigers on the eastern and western front are all here, illustrations are well done, book is mostly consist of b/w photos, illustrations and captions. Highly recommended to the Tiger fans and modelers. One down thing about the book is the softcover bounding which I believe is going to split into pages.

If you have the previous Titles by the Author Tiger 1 in the East and Tiger 1 in the West You've seen it (nearly) all before.
Other than some new colour profiles, little new nor unpublished in the photo selection.
The blurb also states "This edition has been revised and augmented, with more accurate captions as to dates and locale"
After a random flick of several pages, I not several mis-captions carried over from the previous publications.
Page 29. The tiger at the foot of the page is not the Tiger at the top of the page with Kill rings on the Barrel.
Page 39. Top of page. The famous Tiger from the Tigerfibel supposedly hit 250 times identified as TIGER 121, what's that in pic on the side of the turret is that number 231?
Page 41. An artists impression of 121 (250 hits etc.) which was in fact 231 in a colour scheme, the pattern of which has no resemblance to that worn by 231.
Page 52. Not 503 these are 502 Tigers being sprayed in preparation of the display for the Japanese delegation(Credited to the BA but actually from NARA).
Page 96. Both tiger on this page aren't Id'ed Top Tiger 411 Bottom 405.
Page 97. Centre Tiger 411 this time with Kill rings.
Page 101 Artwork showing 1312 of LAH the numbers were thicker in the white outline, the font was slightly different and each numeral was open ended
Page 120 Top supposedly Totenkopf actually 503 Page 121. burning tiger from 505 not TK.
I could go on.
This is a large heavy paper back, Given the size and weight it will only take a few looks for wear and tear appear, I would have been happy to pay a few pennies more for a hardback.
The quality of the paper is excellent heavy and glossy and has resulted in some of the images (not all) being clearer than in the previous tomes.

In summary if you have Vols 1 and 2 not enough here to warrant buying this one, from the advertisements for this book I thought there was more new stuff.
